Hello Buffalo Brides, from the newly minted Mrs. Sarah DiLeo!

My first (and final) blog post as a MRS.

Our wedding day came and went quicker than the blink of an eye. September 16th could not have been a more beautiful day, both weather wise and event wise.

The day started off very early for the women in the wedding; 8 am to be precise. Hair and makeup began and with that so did the insane excitement of a wedding day. During hair and makeup, our photographer, Mike from Rustic Willow Studios and videographer Alex, from Black Horse Video arrived to capture the behind the scenes wedding prep. Spending the morning of with my mom, aunt, cousin and bridal party was great fun. Mimosas, candid pictures and fun with my puppy Pebbles was all captured to remember forever.

Around 1 pm, the bridal party got dressed and ready to see my final look. With help from my amazing Maid of Honor, Jeanette, I got into my gown, put on my (something blue) wedding heels and the finishing touches with my wedding jewelry. My dad was the first to see me all done up and my oh my was it such a special moment. After that, we descended down to see my bridal party and their reactions was everything I’d have hoped for.

Surprise, sheer excitement and tears of joy.

Venturing to the church only made the excitement of the day heighten. Around 2 pm, the ceremony was under way. That moment I stepped out from the back of the church and could see Joe standing at the end of the isle is a moment in time I will simply never forget. Everyone else disappeared from my sight and the most important person of all was the only concern of mine. The vows, the ceremony, everything was simply perfect.

After the ceremony at Prince of Peach Church in Niagara Falls, NY, we ventured out to take informal pictures at Glen Falls Park in Williamsville and the ECC baseball diamond. It was nearly 80 degrees outside and everyone was just dying, a time I am sure no one will forget. We went to ECC baseball’s diamond because that is where Joe and most of his groomsmen met and began their college baseball careers at. I know it was a special time for Joe, as well as the guys.

Once pictures were done we made our way to Samuel's Grande Manor. It was absolutely breathtaking! The decorations, the set up, everything about the reception came out just as I had envisioned. The most thanks to my mother who took care of every detail that this wedding needed. It would not have been so perfect without her!

After everyone settled in and cocktail hour was winding down, the bridal party, parents and Joe and I got ready for our grand entrance. The whole night was just full of love. From our first dance to All Of Me by John Legend, to the parent dances and toasts, our wedding day was certainly the most magical day ever.

I wanted to thank everyone who has followed me through my wedding planning journey. It has been one heck of an amazing ride. The plans, the small details everything down to the last thing only made our wedding that much more amazing.

xXx Sar
